People keep saying "oh PC is going to take over this time blah blah blah", but without being able to do what the ps4/xb1 can do that will never happen. It's like when ppl need to use something to get fov b/c there is no fov slider in game. Steam box are ment for the living room, so yea I can see 4 guys sitting playing on a PC very soon, also never said anything about aimassist, As OP said it's 2014 there should be controller support ppl should not need to use xpadder. Well, maybe the future steam machines might deliver that, but I have yet to see 4 guys sitting on each others laps and playing BF/CoD TDM on a split screen on one guys PC.Īnd as I said before, some people are known to use xpadder to emulate the keystrokes on their gamepads. I am no elitist, to each his/her own, but I had to chuckle over the idea that a PC game, especially a so reduced game like Warface or any other designed for PC game should suddenly copy console mechanics. You were comparing a family accessible enertainment system with a highly individualized ( read: HW) and PC with 2 completely different audiences (in general).
